Brain Food Recipe #2

(Chocolate, Green, Nut-Seed Drink)

Add 2 cups of stinging nettle tea (1 heaping teaspoon for each cup of water) to a Vitamix.

Add nut-seed mixture (consisting of 5 Tablespoons raw almonds and 1 Tablespoon each of: raw walnuts, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds—soaked over night, drained and rinsed).

Add 1 Tablespoon each of: salba seeds, raw maca powder and hemp seed butter and 2 Tablespoons of raw organic cacao powder. Blend.

Add 2 Tablespoons of coconut oil and 6 cups of (stems removed) green kale greens. Blend. (Or, if using 6 cups of green collard greens with the stems removed, 3 Tablespoons of raw organic cacao power are required.)

Sweeten to taste with raw organic coconut, succanat, maple syrup, and/or the soak water from dried fruits (figs, dates, apricots, cherries, etc.). Blend.

Pour into container(s).

Rinse Vitamix with an additional cup of stinging nettle tea; or, alternatively, 8-10 ounces of the water fraction of a solution of distilled water and 1 teaspoon of Bentonite (Montmorillonite) clay soaked overnight. (Or, if there is a concern about radiation, hydrocarbon and/or herbicide/pesticide pollution, stir mixture and add solution of clay and water to container(s).) Stir or shake.

Yield: 3+ cups.
